Maya Riviera Golf Club is a magnificent golf course that extends over an area of 90 hectares of jungle, cenotes and lakes.
Field hole by hole
It is the first golf course developed by Piñero Group and has been masterfully designed by Robert Trent Jones II.The golf 18 holes with a length of 7272 yards, where you can enjoy the utmost of this wonderful sport of golf.
Gathering the most splendid natural elements of the Mayan Riviera, water and rock, Robert Trent Jones II has managed to build a great golf course that leaves no Golfer indifferent from its beauty with a wide variety of trees, water holes in various shapes offering golfers both challenge and fun.

Hole 1
Par 4 ends up in a big lake behind the green. There are two bunkers that protect strategically both the fairway on the ball fall and the green on the right side of the hole.

Hole 2
Par 3 hole has to be played with a precise stroke. With a drop off to both sides, it penalizes short-distance shots with 4 bunkers that surround the green.

Hole 3
Gentlemen tees’ platforms placed in height and the green slightly to the right of the hole. Hole with a drop off from left to right and perfectly protected by 3 bunkers on the right side of the hole. The green is also guarded by a bunker on its left side.

Hole 4
The spectacular par 5 has water on its left side from the tee to the green. The lake has to be crossed so as to reach the green which is protected by 2 bunkers behind it making the last shot a very precise one.

Par 3 is short but precise, protected by two bunkers on both side of the green.

Hole 6
This is one the most outstanding hole since its green has been built on an impressive water hole (cenote). A hole characterized by great movement of the land and a marvelous ending with a cenote; and the green located slightly to the right oh the hole.

Hole 7
Long par 4 of a beautiful design, where technique and precision play an important role. It has to be played towards the bunker located on the left side so as to find then the green protected by an islet making the entrance to the green really interesting.

Hole 8
Long par 5 has an elevated green, which makes the arrival challenging. The first drop of the ball is protected by a bunker on the left and other bunkers will appear on the second stroke on the right just before the green.

Having a dogleg on the right, this hole with right-to-left drop offs will have to played on the fairway highest part watching the long bunker on the right so as to have a good entry into the green.

Technical hole of great beauty, with a lake in front of the green, which will have to be jumped over strategically watching the bunker located on the left side of the green.

Hole 11
Par 4 is short but technical, with water on the left and perfectly protected by bunkers on the ball’s drop off and around the green. It is necessary a precise shot to the green.

This hole is straight, well- protected by bunkers on the left and on the right of the ball’s drop off, where the path gets narrower. There should be precision to the green since it is guarded by two bunkers on the left and right side. The different flag’s positions can make the hole pretty interesting.

This hole is a right dogleg that needs both technique and precision. It has drop offs to the left and to the right and it is well-protected by bunkers on the ball’s fall and on the green left side.

Hole 14
This par 5 is characterized by its great aesthetic beauty. It is surrounded by rocks before reaching the green, which has great drop offs and movement that make the putt immediate before hitting the last ball.

Hole 15
This long par 3 is the most spectacular and beautiful in the course. It has tees’ platforms in height with a lake on the left of the hole, where wind and distance will make reaching the green in just one stroke a true challenge.

Hole 16
Par 5 is challenging and long with water from the tee to the green on the left side of the hole. A greatly designed hole with a drop off from right to left makes reaching the green an adventure since falling into the water must be avoided. The green is protected by two bunkers on each side of the hole.

Hole 17
Par 3 of great design has water from the tee to the green on the left side of the hole. The arrival has movement and is protected by two bunkers on the left and behind the green, which makes the player consider very carefully the stroke so as to avoid falling into the water.

Hole 18
The last hole of the professional round is long, straight and has water in front of the gentlemen’s tee. It is well protected by bunkers on the left, which also separate it from the hole 10, and the green’s arrival has a slight elevation. This hole makes the player have the feeling of having played in one of the best golf course ever.
