9th Quintana Roo Telethon Golf Tournament “playing for the kids!”
Successful inauguration of Bahia Principe Riviera Maya Residences & Golf as the host of the Quintana Roo Telethon Golf Tournament.
Once again, the traditional tournament was one of the golf events of the year in Quintana Roo, this year with the slogan “Playing for the kids!”
On August 19th, Bahia Principe Riviera Maya Residences & Golf hosted the 9th Quintana Roo Telethon Golf Tournament. This traditional tournament brings together players, sponsors, and the media to raise money for rehabilitation and inclusion treatments for children and adolescents with disabilities in Quintana Roo.
The activities kicked off on Friday, August 18th at our Club House at the Riviera Maya Golf Club, with the registration and welcome cocktail hour. The first shotgun start took place early Saturday, after a continental breakfast in the café. With a total of 120 players divided into 30 teams, the participants enjoyed our magnificent course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., while having fun on each of the 18 holes, which were themed with activities, food and beverages.
To end, there was an award luncheon, where the attendees tasted exquisite dishes from the Bahia Principe hotels, and were entertained by TV presenter Héctor Sandarti, who handed out the prizes to participants at a fun ceremony.
